Our Supporters
Many generous businesses, too many to mention, supported
Brian and Maxine in their quest to produce
Following the Old Ghan Railway
Line. They know how much they are appreciated.
As the work continues to raise funds for prostate cancer
research, there are old and new organizations that
help us to maintain momentum.
The Rotary Club of Brighton has been exemplary since inception and
we can always count on their
members to help. In 2009, the Rotary Club of Coromandel Valley
came on board to run and organize our Rail to Rocket Tag-along Tour
fundraiser. Their expertise in running tag-along tours is of immense
importance to us.
Aldinga Table Turkeys, now part of Inghams Turkeys, continues to back us by reducing the
cost of our more expensive fund-raising activities. We are
proud to have them as an ongoing sponsor of the Foundation.
Alison Rodda has given her time firstly as a student of graphic design
and now as a fully-fledged professional designer with
Black
Squid Design. Ali is behind the corporate imagery of
the
Newell Foundation. Ali designed our logo to be a representation of a
camera
lens, with reference to the many colours that can be seen through it.
The
many colours also represent the clinical side of treating and curing
prostate cancer – pulling together small pieces of scientific
information so
that hopefully one
day a cure can be found thus reflecting the aim of the Foundation.
